In recent years, cannabis has successfully climbed its way towards the top of the wellness sector, and it’s no surprise why.

When fused with THC, the two compounds create a synergistic effect on the body – similar to that of the ‘whole plant medicine’ we refer to with our full-flower cannabutter.
For these two cannabinoids in particular, it creates somewhat of a balancing act.
Research suggests that CBD can actually calm the psychoactive effects of THC, which is especially ideal for those who fear an uncomfortable experience of feeling “too high.”
When it comes to CBD edibles specifically, the benefits don’t stop there.
For example, if you’re looking for a CBD effect that will truly last, try opting for a CBD edible versus smoking it.
When combined with food, this means the CBD is being released slowly over long periods of time as the food itself is digested. The result, Green Flower Media says, can last between two and four hours longer than inhaled CBD.
Since it is non-psychotropic, meaning it doesn’t get you high like THC does, CBD edibles are also a great option for people who tend to feel overly anxious or paranoid when ingesting cannabis.
